The Indian Navy has realised Agniveer MR (Musician) Recruitment 2026 official notification on 30 March 2026. Indian Navy MR Age Limit 2026
For Indian Navy MR Musician recruitment, the Date of Birth entered by the candidate in the online application form will be considered final. This date must match the details recorded in the Matriculation or equivalent certificate or the Birth certificate. The Indian Navy will determine the candidate’s age based on these documents, and no request for any change in the Date of Birth will be accepted.
Minimum age – 17.5 years
Maximum age – 21 years
The candidates should be born between 01 July 2004 and 31 December 2008.
Indian Navy MR (Musician) Qualifications 2026
Candidates must have passed the Matriculation Examination from a recognised board with at least 50% marks in aggregate. Along with educational qualification, applicants should possess valid music certificates such as Degree, Diploma, Grade, or certificates received from competitions. Good proficiency in music is also required, including proper sense of tempo, pitch, singing ability, and practical skill in playing any instrument of Indian or foreign origin.

Selection Procedure for Indian Navy MR (Musician) 2026
1. Shortlisting – the candidates will be shortlisted based on the marks obtained in class 10th.
2. Physical Test – Shortlisted candidates will receive a call letter for physical test.
3. Written Examination – The candidate who qualifies physical test will be eligible to apear in written test which will computer based test.
4. Musical Test- After clearing the written test,the candidates will be called for the musical audition test. In this test, their musical ability, sense of rhythm, and proficiency in playing the instruments will be assed.
5. Medical Test- The candidate who cleared these stages will be eligible to appear in medical test.
6. Final Merit List- The candidate who cleared all the tests will be called finally fit and will be selected.
